Travelodge London Clapham Junction

I had low expectations, however I paid extra for a 7th floor room and it was perfect. Staff were very friendly and stored my bag while I waited for 3 pm check in. When I did check in at 7pm the lady on reception helped me upgrade from a ground floor twin to top floor corner double. The room, although compact, was clean, quiet and comfortable. Coffee machine and Kit Kats in the premium room a bonus. Noon checkout also helpful.

Stayed for a weekend at this Travelodge, if is conveniently located by the train station, a bus stop is also opposite and some cafes nearby if needed. Cannot fault the location. We had a twin room which was fine, facilities were as expected - average. Room was slightly cold but can easily be fixed with the heating. Receptionist who initially served us was politely, friendly and helpful. We then went to revisit and asked for another towel as they had only provided one, the receptionist at that time was rude. Other than that, the stay was fine, due to the price and location I would possibly rebook. I would recommend for those who need a continent location and access to public transport in London.

A very conveniently located hotel minutes away from the train station by foot. Lots of eateries around the hotel and easy access into central London. More value for money than staying at a Travelodge in central London if you’re after saving a few bucks.

The rooms are 'compact' though spacious enough for two. All the staff treated us very nicely and were accommodating. The Assistant Manager, Erasmo was also very welcoming and always had a smile on his face with knowledge. Considering its location, it was very quiet in the rooms and they were spotless! Decent sized TV, the bed was huge and fit well into the room. Tea and Coffee facilities were in the rooms though the Reception area is well stocked if you do run out during the night and having a pass-key at night allows you to know that at least basic security is catered for when arriving back after a long day. There's a couple late night bars within 1 minute walk, and many more within 5-10 minutes if you wish to venture further. Although this offers no food on-site bar a vending machine, there's plenty of establishmenst close by to cater for all kinds of needs. From a Whole Foods and other stores to making at least one visit to Jack's at the Junction for a filling smothie to full-on English, we had a great stay and got some walks and work in locally, too with Waterloo maybe 15 minutes away, door-to-platform. Perhaps the only issue is parking. However, there's parking available close-by anyway but the trains and buses are frequent in whichever diretion you want to go. A very pleasing stay, and central London is just moments away, it's a price balance between being a tourist and not seeing anything of 'local' London culture, or passing through local community and experiencing more than what's shown on the news about lovely local areas.

The cleanest,freshest friendliest Travelodge I've ever stayed in.bang on the high road for shops pubs ,public transport etc . Not great for parking though( we weren't driving) . The room we had wasn't big ,but for a couple of nights it's all we needed . So if you are in tga Clapham area and need a place to stay I'd give it a big thumbs up .

Really good. A fifth star would be awarded if there was a tiny bit more London rabble noise suppression, but that's probably asking a bit much and only because I'm an old git.

I know what I booked so everything was at expectations room was clean had all the amenities. The only thing’s that makes it a 4 star.. Tv needs a re scan,window was drafty, and you could’ve put my 2 rooms on the same floor!

Stayed at the hotel for two weeks visiting family nearyby. Erasmo was absolutely exception and went above and beyond what would be expected. I could not recommend him more or the hotel. The service was great and so was the room. The location has to be the best within Clapham Junction
